PROFILE

Natalie Kingham was drawn to fashion from a young age through the personal style of the women around her and the vibrant market culture of Notting Hill in the early 1980s. She began her career at 20 as a sales assistant at Joseph in Westbourne Grove, where she worked directly with Joseph Ettedgui to source and buy from some of Britain’s most exciting emerging labels.

She launched her own label in 2000 to international press acclaim, then joined MatchesFashion in 2010 as an international womenswear buyer, a role that would grow into one of the most influential buying positions in global fashion. She was the first to stock Vetements, Halpern, and Charles Jeffrey, consistently spotting designers before the rest of the market caught up. By 2021, she had risen to Global Fashion Officer, tasked with defining and leading the fashion point of view for the retailer across its worldwide customer base. Under her watch, MatchesFashion attended fashion weeks in Seoul and Lagos alongside the traditional calendar, and partnered with Fashion Trust Arabia to bring MENA designers to a global audience as part of a long-standing commitment to championing emerging talent beyond the established fashion capitals.

Today, Natalie operates as an independent global luxury brand, fashion, and commerce consultant with over 25 years of experience, advising designers and brands on product development, category extension, and e-commerce growth strategy.
