PROFILE

Sophie Hedley built her career at the crossroads of fashion, luxury retail, and brand communications. She began in fashion journalism, spending nearly a decade at British Vogue before becoming Executive Fashion & Beauty Director at InStyle. Her editorial expertise led to senior communications and marketing roles with brands including Armani, Selfridges, and Bicester Village, where she helped shape the positioning of some of the world's most recognisable luxury retail destinations.

Over the past two decades, Hedley has become one of Britain's leading fashion and luxury communications strategists, advising brands, retailers, and cultural institutions on storytelling, marketing, and consumer engagement. She later joined the Rothschild Foundation as Marketing and Communications Director, bringing her expertise to the arts, heritage, and philanthropy while continuing to champion creativity beyond fashion. Most recently, she was appointed a Trustee of Smart Works, the UK charity that empowers unemployed women through coaching and interview preparation, further extending her impact across the creative and charitable sectors. Today, she remains an influential voice on the business of fashion, luxury branding, and cultural marketing, regularly contributing to industry publications and speaking at leading fashion forums.
