PROFILE

Tracy Reese discovered her love for fashion at an early age, learning to sew alongside her mother before honing her craft at Parsons School of Design in New York. After working with renowned designer Martine Sitbon and serving as Design Director at Perry Ellis, she launched her own label in the late 1990s. Her signature blend of vibrant colour, feminine silhouettes, and globally inspired prints quickly earned her a devoted following and established her as one of America's most celebrated fashion designers.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Reese has dressed influential women including Michelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker, Taylor Swift, and Oprah Winfrey, while becoming a longstanding member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). In 2019, she launched Hope for Flowers, a purpose-driven fashion brand rooted in sustainability, ethical production, and community development in her hometown of Detroit. Today, she continues to champion responsible design, local manufacturing, and artisan craftsmanship through her Detroit-based studio. Most recently, Hope for Flowers unveiled its acclaimed Resort 2026 and Pre-Fall 2026 collections, further cementing Reese's position as a leading voice in sustainable luxury fashion and thoughtful design.
